OUR Cataloging Policy includes the following standards: -We follow Anglo-American Cataloguing Rules, second edition (AACR2) for authority control and apply these standards to all work. -We apply Level 2 cataloging to all materials, as this "became the national standard designated by LC and the bibliographic networks as 'full level' descriptive cataloging for most resources" (Intner & Weihs, 2015, p. 14). -We use Library of Congress Subject Headings (LCSH) and include at least three (3) in each record. -We use SIRSI as the automation system for our cataloging. -We copy MARC records whenever possible and consider original cataloging only when acceptable MARC records are not available. We search for records through SmartPORT utilizing SIRSI and check all information in the records before copying. -We include and check that there are the following tags in our MARC records
